Kohatu®, meaning stone or rock in Maori, was released alongside Wai-iti in 2011. It was named after Kohatu, a small town nestled by the Motueka River, south west of Nelson, New Zealand. Kohatu is not as fruity as Wai-iti, but with its intense aroma of tropical fruit and freshly crushed pine needles, it adds a wonderfully fresh character to beer. …
